| Jobs |

Jobs are one way you earn cash and experiencein Mafia Wars. Some jobs require certain items, properties, or mafia size to complete. New jobs become available as you progress through the game by completing jobs, earning cash and expanding your mafia size. Use that cash to buy the tools you need to perform bigger and better jobs for a bigger payoff.

To win more attacks, outfit everyone in your mafia with the weapons, armor, and vehicles with the highest attack ratings. The higher your average attack rating per mafia member is, the better your chances are of winning the fight. Usually the best weapons are awarded from the Godfather. More... |

You need energy to do things in Mafia Wars. Different Mafia Wars jobs and fights use different amounts of energy. Once your energy is gone you have to wait until it comes back. More... |
| Skills |

Every time you gain a level, you get 5 more skill points to spend. The introductory sequence to the game causes you to jump to level 2 and you will immediately find yourself with some skill points to assign to these skills. More... |
